We all hear about campaigns and candidates receiving campaign contributions, but wouldn't it be interesting if Americans turned out this Valentine's Day to support their candidate with a dozen roses? Sure that money could go into the campaign coffers, but think how much fun it would be to see a story about Hillary Clinton or John McCain receiving 12 million roses! Election 2008 could turn into a new War of the Roses.
Its just an idea of mine that was inspired by one of our sponsors GourmetGiftBaskets.com. They provide great gift baskets, flowers and more for those of you that will be shopping for Valentines Day Gifts. They recently provided a new release describing how a Valentine's gift really shows that to the recipient that you are thinking of them. As its the political season, I naturally thought by extension, wouldn't John Edwards or Rudy Giuliani like to know that I am thinking about them . . . Maybe I should send them a great gift basket, to help them get their day off to a good start on Valentine's day. A little unadulterated good will might get one of our future presidents off to a good start and tip the world in a better direction.
