Scooter Libby was found guilty, but don't let that fool you into thinking that the legal battles with scooter over.
- Scooter's attorneys are going to appeal the verdict.
- The Wilson's are likely going to bring a civil suit against multiple government officials, including Scooter and possibly Vice President Cheney.
- The President might even pardon Scooter Libby. That didn't will bring up a significant amount of political talk and debate about whether or not Scooter Libby was prompted to do the Vice President's bidding. This could have then created the situation where Scooter Libby lied to a grand jury, was found guilty, and was subsequently pardoned benefiting the people that he lied for the grand jury.
So don't think that this roller coaster has come to an end. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of it in the news as Time goes by the next couple of years.
