Crazy Puppet Fraude in Mexico

New President Felipe Calderón has his work cut out for him.  Not only does he have to deal with a historical legacy of years of gridlock, but coming into office he is met by protesters contending the legitimacy of his election.

Outgoing President Fox had shortcomings, but unlike many Mexican presidents over saw a period of economic stability and did not result to violence to quell protesters.

The new president comes in with protesters out in full force offering up signs calling him a puppet and fraud.  There is much discontent in Mexico, but much of that frustration is not entirely directed at a government for going the wrong direction but for not bringing progress and growth to the people fast enough.  This will likely present the major challenge for Calderón, How can he deliver more growth more reform than his predecessor did when his predecessor is seen as having failed on many fronts despite a contextual better run at governing the people successfully as compared to the context of decades of poor Mexican leaders in office.

Next to economic reform one of the major questions that many people are concerned about is the question, 'Will Calderón result to violence to stem the flow of protesters breaking from Fox's no violence attempts to do the same?'
