Should Seneca Reject Developers and Saving the White Deer

There is a rarity in Seneca county New York, a hurd of White (all white) deer raised from two white farms on a former military base. The base is fenced off keeping the deer in and safe, but developers want to redevelop a large area of the base, which could threaten the protections that the deer currently enjoy.

Should these deer be protected or should the developers be allowed in to harvest the natural resources?

this is the question that is taking place all around the country with many types of living and non-living creatures. Should every person in the world be allowed their own swath of acreage for a homestead or will we learn to work with what we have?
