Measuring the Cost of The Fast and The Furious

For many of us we will never get the chance to drive in traffic like the car chases we see in movies like 'The Fast and The Furious.'  No amount of driving skills can let a person move a vehicle down 8 lanes of traffic and 2 shoulders when all 8 lanes and 2 shoulders are jam packed with cars.

However, its nice to dream.  A recent release on behalf of CarInsurance.com, an online car insurance rate marketplace,  points out that there is a special extra capability on some of the DVD versions of the latest installment, Tokyo Drift that keeps a dollar tally of the cost of all the bent fenders, broken glass and accident costs that add up in the movie, just like a game on XBox, this unique tool was provided by Progressive and can also be seen at progressivefastandfurious.com.

At the end of the day moving with a car in this fashion is not just for fiction because of the crazy driving but almost because the driving capability exists at all.
